Spouse / Partner KITAS (E31B) — Family Stay Permit

A longer-term family stay solution for those who want more stability and less repeat administration while living in Indonesia.

A Family KITAS (E31) is a residency permit that allows the legal spouse and children (under 18) of a KITAS or KITAP holder to live together in Indonesia. It is a dependent visa, meaning its validity is tied directly to the main permit holder's stay. The validity of a Family KITAS matches that of the primary sponsor's permit. 

To apply, you must provide a marriage certificate for a spouse or birth certificates for children, all of which must be translated into English or Indonesian by a certified translator. The primary sponsor must provide their passport and valid KITAS/KITAP, along with bank statements from the last three months showing a minimum balance of USD 2,000 to prove financial support for the family.
